Newbury – New build wants new Technology

On this project the home owner was keen to create a dynamic and flexible environment for his family. In particular the client wanted a modern multi media solution to reflect his three main interests: Films, Music and Entertaining.
Due to the level of equipment control required, a Crestron system was considered the best option, this would interface with Central Video and Music libraries along with 3 x Sky TV boxes, CD players, Blu Ray Players, iDocks and Radio plus the Lighting control system, all accessed from simple to operate Hand Held Touch Screens or Wall stations.
A home theatre was installed in the Living room allowing the user to watch films on an in wall TV screen, the speakers were also flushed mounted into the wall. Movies were accessed from the centralised video server all without leaving the Sofa.
On this project we also provided a complete Lighting service which included the Lighting layout, Light fittings and Lighting Control System. A Lutron lighting control system was installed throughout the property both internally and externally allowing each room/area to be individually controlled; this coupled with mixture of Tungsten down lights, coloured LED’s and low energy fittings created an exciting solution to provide mood and atmosphere for any occasion.
The Roof space has also been cabled to allow for a Cinema area to be installed at a later date.
